First of all, dental care today is nearly painless.  We will choose from a variety of anesthetics to keep you comfortable. We use topical numbing agents,  local anesthetics, oral medication, and nitrous oxide (conscious sedation) . And we'll do this, if you wish, for your cleaning as well.

The outcomes today are different.  With proper care, one can keep teeth for a lifetime. Those teeth that do need work can be restored to a healthy state, thanks to the latest techniques in decay detection, fillings and crowns. Dental work looks so much more natural, and the chances of needing dentures have been dramatically reduced. If an individual does need replacement teeth, the color, shape and size can be matched, making it very difficult to tell them from your natural ones.
